Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions is seeking a dependable individual to join our machine shop within the aerospace division in Holyoke, MA. This role operates machinery, handles materials, and produces aerospace parts while following safety and production procedures.

On some Fridays, you may be asked to assist with general cleaning and housekeeping duties in the shop. The position requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and learn to operate equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and safely operate machinery.
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to assist with cleaning and general shop duties when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Shear, cut, and produce parts for aerospace applications.
• Handle materials and assist with production processes.
• Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized machine shop.
• Assist with general shop cleaning and housekeeping as needed, including occasional Friday cleaning.
• Perform material handling and other shop duties as needed.
