Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. is hiring a Machine Operator to join our Operations team in Kinston, NC. You will operate machine tools, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet strict tolerances in a high-precision aerospace environment.

This role supports the SkillBridge program and may require training; the candidate must be able to pass WorkKeys assessment and have a High School Diploma/GED. Full-time benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
• Experience with conventional or CNC machining and precision measuring tools.
• Formally apprenticeship training or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools to produce parts within tight tolerances.
• Monitor quality using inspection gauges and statistical methods.
• Assist with routine maintenance and tool changes as needed.
• Complete MVP qualification training and safety requirements.
