Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Aerospace Machine Operator in Everett, WA. This entry to intermediate role emphasizes precision, safety, and quality within a specialized production environment, with comprehensive on-the-job training to develop advanced technical skills.

The position is contract to hire, onsite, with a Monday–Friday shift from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm and a pay range of $21.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience. Eligible benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude; understand machine operation and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and shop equipment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate tube deburring equipment and fitting installation equipment.
• Program machine and Vision Measurement Machine (VMM) programming.
• Fabricate, handle, and move materials.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify issues, and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines.
• Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Job Description

In this entry to intermediate -level Machine Operator I role you will operate CNC tube bending and deburring equipment and work within a specialized production environment. The position is focused on precision, quality, and safety. comprehensive on-the-job training is provided. This position is ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude, general machine operation or aerospace manufacturing exposure who are eager to learn, grow, and develop advanced technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate tube deburring equipment and fitting installation equipment

• Perform machine programming and Vision Measurement Machine (VMM) programming

• Fabricate, handle, and move materials

• Monitor equipment performance, identify issues, and perform basic troubleshooting

• Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines

• Use precision measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Essential Skills

• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand machine operation and mechanical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
