Job summary

AEVEX is seeking a Logistics Driver (CDL) to safely transport materials between company facilities, suppliers, and customer sites, with strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety policies.

You will inspect vehicles, load and unload cargo, maintain chain of custody and material traceability per AS9100, and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AA preferred.
• CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience, preferably in aerospace or regulated environments.
• Experience handling hazardous materials transportation (DOT/IATA), if applicable.
• Familiarity with AS9100 documentation and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport materials between company facilities, suppliers, and customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and ensure proper load securement.
• Verify shipments against delivery documentation (bills of lading, packing lists).
• Maintain chain of custody and material traceability per AS9100.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Complete delivery logs and transportation documentation accurately.
• Adhere to hours-of-service requirements and driver logs.
• Support audits with accurate records.
