Job summary

PEAK Technical Services Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead aircraft installation programs and drive the mechanical development of new aerospace lighting products.

You will serve as a technical leader and program manager, guiding projects from concept through certification, production launch, and customer implementation. You will oversee aircraft-specific installations, lead product development, support manufacturing improvements, and interface with customers, suppliers,

Qualifications

• Strong engineering design and analysis capabilities.
• Experience with aerospace lighting product development is a plus.
• Customer-facing interface and cross-functional leadership experience.
• Ability to travel up to 30%, including international travel when required.
• Technical writing experience including specifications and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through certification, production release, and launch.
• Provide technical leadership in development of aerospace lighting products and installation solutions.
• Translate customer requirements into manufacturable, certifiable designs.
• Develop and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, analyses, and installation documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure program success.
• Support certification, qualification, and installation planning efforts.
• Lead cost-reduction and manufacturability improvements through DFM principles.
