Job summary

Enjet Aero in Huber Heights, OH, is seeking a Laser Operator for the night shift (Mon–Thu, 4:00 pm–2:30 am) with a 20% shift differential. The role focuses on loading parts, operating Trumpf/Mitsubishi lasers, and ensuring parts meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, CNC education preferred, and strong attention to detail with good problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNC education preferred.
• Working knowledge of laser equipment, tooling, and processes.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Load parts and operate lasers (Trumpf 5 Axis and/or Mitsubishi 5 Axis).
• Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations.
• Perform minor edits of laser programs and tooling setup per work instructions.
• Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, etc.
• Maintain quality standards per the Quality Management System.
• Monitor and document operational issues and provide feedback to supervisor.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers and staff.
• Other duties as directed by supervisor.
