Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking a Laser Deburring Technician-Airflow in East Windsor, CT to deburr or polish surfaces on aerospace parts using small hand power tools, following blueprints and work instructions. The role emphasizes attention to detail and precision in edge breaks and surface finishing.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year manufacturing experience, and proficiency in English. ITAR compliance and domestic travel up to 10% are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person and able to work with ITAR data
• High School Degree or GED
• 1+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Processes major aerospace parts per specifications
• Creates edge breaks and removes burs per work instructions or blueprint
• Polishes machined edges and surfaces per work instructions or blueprint
• Manual break of edges and shoeshine of broach slots
• Process holes per customer specifications and work instructions
• Use various tools and methods to check dimensions of completed deburr work
• Processing of blisk surface finish/transition lines of blades using handheld power tools
• Rework of aerospace parts to conform to customer blueprint per work instructions
• Perform other related duties or responsibilities as required
