Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, a full-service aerospace surface finishing company, is seeking a lab technician in Massachusetts. The role focuses on tracking tests, performing analytical and physical tests, and generating test reports.

You will work with spectrophotometers and precision glassware, ensuring records stay within shop specifications, and collaborating with shop personnel. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience performing analytical and physical tests in a lab.
• Ability to create test reports outlining procedures and results.
• Familiarity with lab safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Track tests to ensure they are performed within required time frames.
• Perform analytical and physical tests including corrosion, adhesion, plating and more.
• Create test reports outlining procedures and results.
• Review testing records for accuracy and compliance with specs.
• Monitor tank temperatures and ensure safety and process controls.
• Communicate issues with shop personnel as needed.
