Job summary

Axiom Space in the United States seeks a resilient Project Manager, Information Technology to plan, execute, and deliver enterprise IT and digital transformation initiatives. You will partner with the CIO, CISO, IT, engineering, and business stakeholders to manage the full project lifecycle for technology systems and software.

The ideal candidate has strong Agile/Scrum fluency alongside waterfall or hybrid delivery, hands‑on experience with Jira and Confluence, and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; 5+ years of IT project management experience or equivalent.
• Experience delivering IT infrastructure, software development, or digital transformation projects.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum as well as waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
• Familiarity with change management and ITIL practices, including change/release processes.
• Certifications such as PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, ITIL are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise IT projects (infrastructure, systems integration, software).
• Defines project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics.
• Maintains detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Applies Agile, waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
• Uses Jira and Confluence to manage backlogs, sprints, releases, dashboards, and reporting.
• Leads Agile/Scrum ceremonies and coordinates change management and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with IT, security, engineering, and business units.
• Ensures IT projects meet data security and governance requirements with CISO.
