Qualifications

• 2+ years in inventory control or a physical logistics role within aerospace/defense or high-volume hardware manufacturing.
• Hands-on cycle counting and physical inventory verification experience.
• Ability to trace discrepancies to root cause through documentation and transaction research.
• Proficiency with ERP/WMS for inventory lookups and transaction review.
• Strong Excel skills for sorting, filtering, and data analysis.
• Onsite availability in Santa Ana, CA or Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory accuracy, both physical and system records across all locations.
• Perform daily cycle counts, scheduled counts, and wall-to-wall inventories.
• Investigate discrepancies by researching transaction histories and paperwork; trace variances to root cause.
• Document the specific process failure of variances and maintain RCCA records for AS9100/government property.
• Submit formal adjustment requests with supporting evidence and coordinate for timely review.
• Execute accurate inventory transactions with proper transfer orders and documentation.
• Maintain accurate bin locations and material master information; resolve misplaced or damaged material.
• Support segregation and control of high-value inventory; operate forklifts and handling equipment.
• Collaborate with Materials, Production, Deployment, and Supply Chain to develop procedures and KPIs.
