Job summary

Neill Aircraft Company in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support production and shipping operations. The role maintains accurate inventory records, pulls and stages materials, and processes shipments per customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The hourly rate ranges from $18.50 to $21.00 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in inventory, warehouse, shipping & receiving, material handling, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience using inventory management or ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills including entering and retrieving information accurately.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain accurate records of materials used in production.
• Review customer requirements and process scheduled shipments.
• Package and preserve products for shipment, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Protect parts in plastic bags for stocking purposes.
• Create packing lists and pull shipping materials based on production schedules.
• Pull hardware and stage materials for production use.
• Perform final buy-off of finished goods stock and validate completion of operations.
• Maintain inventory levels and values in the computer database.
• Issue material requisitions as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
