Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk at the Rocket Development Facility in Texas. The role ensures accurate onsite inventory, receives and issues parts, and supports engineers and technicians with timely materials for mission-critical testing and development.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, proper storage, and documenting transactions in the MRP/ERP system. Overtime and physical duties are expected, with opportunities to improve processes across site operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain position with receiving, precision, mechanical, or metrological inspection experience.
• Experience in a large manufacturing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and issue parts and hardware to support site operations.
• Store parts and materials in bins, drawers, and racks and identify locations.
• Prepare necessary kits of parts and materials and ensure availability.
• Record transactions in MRP/ERP systems.
• Perform routine cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain 5S and safety practices in the area.
• Communicate with internal customers and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
