Job summary

SpaceX in Texas is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk on 2nd shift to support the Rocket Development Facility. You will receive, stock, and issue parts, maintain accurate inventory, and help ensure our technicians have what they need to advance missions.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, using MRP/ERP systems, forklift operation, and strict 5S practices. The role requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to work with cross‑functional teams in a demanding manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years in inventory control or related field.
• Experience with receiving, precision, mechanical, or metrological inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering information.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and issue parts and materials for site operations manually or with a VLM.
• Store parts and identify storage locations; prepare kits of parts as required.
• Maintain material handling procedures and 5S practices.
• Monitor shelf-life storage; rotate stock and record transactions in MRP/ERP systems.
• Perform routine cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklift or hand truck to move shipments as needed.
• Route items to appropriate departments and communicate with internal customers and suppliers.
• Support organization goals and complete daily activity sheets.
