Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Inventory Specialist, Maintenance for Starlink to oversee inbound/outbound materials and support shop operations in Bastrop, TX. The role prioritizes accurate kit assembly, material handling, and cross-team coordination to meet production milestones.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in inventory control, forklift operation, and strong computer skills; ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
2+ years of inventory control experience.
3+ years of inventory control experience in a warehouse (preferred).
Experience operate a forklift and other related inventory equipment.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

Maintain oversight of backlogs to ensure material is received and delivered within target.
Support daily/weekly team meetings to help the team improve and ensure inventory meets needs.
Receive, store and issue raw material, parts, and hardware for shop operations.
Monitor department consumables and ownership of the solution and process flow.
Perform picking to assemble kits of parts and materials with accuracy.
Interface with other teams to resolve receipt and distribution problems.
Maintain material handling practices per procedures and verify paperwork.
