Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support the Starlink factory, focusing on put-aways, picking, kitting, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced aerospace setting.

The role requires 1+ years of inventory control experience; 3+ years preferred, with forklift operation skills and ERP experience (SAP, Oracle). Overtime and lifting up to 40 lbs are expected in this shift-based role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 1+ years inventory control experience
• Preferred 3+ years inventory control experience in a warehouse
• Experience operating forklift and related inventory equipment
• ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue raw materials to support shop operations
• Organize and store parts and materials with clear storage locations
• Adhere to material handling procedures
• Perform picking and kitting to assemble required kits
• Inspect incoming materials for conformance to paperwork and part numbers
• Issue materials with verification and traceability markings
• Comply with procedures and SOPs
• Monitor shelf-life items and perform FIFO
• Support organizational metrics and housekeeping
• Conduct cycle counts
