Qualifications

• Experience in calculations and simple analysis of design and materials for BOM optimization.
• Mech systems experience, fluids and thermal dynamics in design.
• Ability to run flow and thermal calculations for aerospace interior components.
• SolidWorks CAD modeling, assemblies and drawings.
• Experience working with suppliers and generating component specifications.
• Familiarity with FDA/FAA requirements in aerospace interiors.

Responsibilities

• Analyze design and materials to optimize BOM and performance.
• Perform flow and thermal calculations for systems.
• Create 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks.
• Coordinate with suppliers for specifications and parts.
• Address interior modification retrofit design and installation at aircraft level.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Mfg., Integration, Qualification, Testing.
