Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks an electrical hardware design engineer in the United States (Olathe, KS) to own the design lifecycle from schematics to qualification testing. The role involves DC-DC power supply design, EMI considerations, and integration with aerospace requirements.

The candidate will create schematics, operational diagrams, and documentation, and support testing activities across development stages, including qualification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical hardware design and integration, requirements management, component derating, schematic capture, PCB layout oversite, DC-DC power supply design, troubleshooting and support activities through all phases of product development including qualification and validation testing.
• Works to create schematics, operational diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, ensuring electrical design to requirement, supporting electrical testing and troubleshooting. Responsible for owning electrical hardware design and all design lifecycle activities.
• Supporting test articles, fixtures, wire harnesses, and representative loads necessary for design, qualification, or production use (such as acceptance test procedures), are also included in design duties as required
