Job summary

All Aviation Jobs is seeking an Interior Project Engineer for a client in Wichita, KS, focusing on modifications to interior commodities and systems and supporting proposals with data packages. The role requires leadership of a small team and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating with subject matter experts, suppliers, and internal teams for design, installation, integration, and certification of interior modifications and floorplans.

Qualifications

• Hold at minimum a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a significant equivalent history of working experience.
• You have 5 years of experience in aerospace industry.
• You have team or project leading experience (preferred).
• You have very good analytical skills and initiative, capable of working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support the Design for Defense customer of modifications affecting interior commodities and systems.
• Be accountable for the team’s on-time, within-budget deliverables with quality.
• Provide technical leadership to team members and oversee projects in work or proposed.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts, external suppliers, and internal departments for design, installation, and certification.
• Review engineering designs and participate in development and integration of modification solutions.
• Provide visibility on execution, issues, and escalations to leadership.
