Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a General Production Worker for an Aerospace-focused role based onsite in Newport, WA. You will build interior panels for planes, handling materials, cutting, trimming, and assembling with CNC machinery and press equipment.

The position offers multiple shifts (Weekday, Weekend, Nights) and requires readiness to cross-train across departments while contributing to continuous improvement and accurate production paperwork.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in general labor tasks.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Machine operating skills, including inspection and assembly.
• Forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify and withdraw materials.
• Cut and kit materials.
• Lay up materials accurately.
• Load and unload the press.
• Operate the press efficiently.
• Operate the saw for precise cutting.
• Trim panels using CNC machinery.
• Complete production paperwork promptly.
• Actively participate in operational improvement activities.
• Cross-train or transfer to other departments as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility.
