Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies in Washington is seeking an Upholstery Technician to perform panel prep, coverings installation and assembly of aircraft interior components per engineering data and quality standards.

You will interpret specifications, prepare materials such as fabric, leather and Tedlar, and support the master production schedule while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and complying with DOT/FAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of upholstery experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing under DOT/FAA program.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely prepares components for coverings and assembles upholstery per data.
• Interprets material specs and engineering drawings for quality.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the shop and tools.
• Wears safety equipment and follows hazardous materials guidelines.
• Supports master production schedule and on-wing installations as needed.
