Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Appleton is seeking an Interior Installation Technician I to safely remove, install and fabricate aircraft interiors (galleys, closets, lavatories, bulkheads) under close supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, fabrication or related experience, and the ability to read and follow work orders. You must be able to work any shift, lift up to 40 pounds, and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Applicable installation, fabrication or related experience or trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform aircraft removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors in accordance with work orders and specifications.
• Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and sign off paperwork.
• Follow standard operating procedures for tools and equipment such as hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders and brakes.
• Comply with safety, 5S and housekeeping policies and use PPE; address unsafe conditions.
• In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
