Job summary

Archer is seeking an Engineering Program Manager for Archer Intelligence in San Jose, CA. You will lead cross-functional teams across software, AI, QA and operations to deliver safety-critical aerospace software on time and within scope.

You will define roadmaps, manage milestones, and integrate certification gates into the program. Strong communication with executives and teams is essential to drive successful delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Technical Program Management experience in safety-critical, regulated software development.
• Experience managing the full product development lifecycle—from requirements to release and sustainment.
• Fluent in modern software development practices including agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-based delivery.
• Strong technical acumen to engage credibly with software engineers and data scientists on architecture and tradeoffs.
• Proven track record of managing complex, multi-team programs with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive audiences.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Asana or similar program management tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical program management for Archer Intelligence initiatives through inception, release and sustainment.
• Define program roadmaps, milestones, resource plans and success criteria with engineering and product leaders.
• Incorporate aviation safety and certification milestones into the program roadmap.
• Drive alignment across software engineering, AI, QA and operations.
• Monitor program health with metrics, identify risks and lead mitigation.
