Job summary

The Boeing Company in Tukwila, WA is seeking an Instrumentation Technician C to install instrumentation—strain gauges, thermocouples, accelerometers—across Boeing aircraft using blueprints and test documents.

Responsibilities include fabricating wire bundles, setting up qualification tests, and assembling/test equipment in hangars and on airfields. 100% onsite with travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience reading and interpreting wire harness diagrams and installation schematics.
• 1+ year of experience in electrical (wire shop) fabrication.
• 1+ year of experience with soldering electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Receive work assignment and obtain materials.
• Obtain engineering drawings and test documents as required.
• Fabricate wire or fiber optic bundles to connect test equipment.
• Set up and perform qualification/bench/automatic tests.
• Install fiber optic strain gauges, thermocouples, accelerometers, and strain gauges by soldering or bonding.
