Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Able to read and understand technical documentation such as schematic diagrams and parts lists.
  2. Experience using hand tools for electronic assembly.
  3. Must demonstrate the manual dexterity required to perform repetitive assembly operations with reasonable speed and accuracy.
  4. Must be able to work under microscopes for long periods of time (requires good visual acuity, with or without correction).
  5. Must be able to work under minimum supervision.
  6. Must possess basic computer skills within a Windows environment.
  7. Knowledge of IPC 610 & J-STD soldering specifications.
  8. Must be able to show proficiency in the use of a soldering iron to perform certified soldering.
  9. Tools that you must know how to use: tweezers, jeweler’s screwdrivers, torque screwdrivers and wrenches, pull test machine, special equipment online station.
  10. Keen attention to detail.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Must have completed HS Diploma/GED from an accredited school.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in the assembly of small intricate parts and assemblies.
  3. Minimum 1 year of soldering experience.
  4. Ability to demonstrate soldering proficiency through skills test.
  5. Must be able to pass IPC 610 & J-STD certifications after training.

Desired Characteristics:

  1. Familiar with Electric Static Discharge precautions.
  2. Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and PDF Viewers.
  3. Motivated and a self-starter.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
