Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corp is seeking a Nondestructive Test Inspector for its Irvine, CA operations. The role focuses on basic inspection using gages and precision instruments, with potential Level 1 NDT certification and strong blueprints understanding.

You will ensure accuracy, document results and support calibration activities in a team environment. Responsibilities include maintaining records, performing checks, audits, and ensuring safety and procedure compliance in a high-standard aerospace

Qualifications

• One year inspection or related experience.
• May be certified as Level 1 NDT in magnetic particle or liquid penetrant per MIL-STD-410 / PES1-29.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications and internal drawings.
• Ability to read and calibrate mechanical, hydraulic and electrical instruments.
• Must read and interpret tolerances and measurement data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
• Perform basic parts inspection using gages and instruments to determine acceptability or rejection.
• Operate surface analyzer to determine parts finish.
• Audit assembly, test, machining and other functions for procedural compliance.
• Document acceptances and rejections and route inspected parts per instructions.
• Perform basic calibration on measuring/test equipment and determine acceptability to tolerances.
• Set up calibration equipment and recall equipment as needed.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly equipment checks and maintain a FOD-free area.
