Job summary

Segers Aero Corporation, located in Fairhope, AL, is hiring an Inspector to perform detailed turbine engine and propeller inspections in accordance with technical data. This safety-sensitive role requires DOT/FAA compliance and drug testing.

You will use precision measuring instruments, maintain inspection records, and train others while supporting continuous improvement and safety standards. A competitive benefits package and a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• FAA Power Plant license or strong working knowledge in the specialty field.
• 1+ year of aviation inspection experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Background check and DOT FAA pre-employment drug screen required.
• ITAR/EAR verifications of citizenship or residency may be requested.
• Jaeger and Ishihara eye exam required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily inspection assignments as directed by the Supervisor.
• Examines material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds.
• Uses precision measuring instruments to complete inspections per approved data.
• Maintains accurate and timely records of inspections.
• Keeps a clean work environment using continuous improvement tools.
