Job summary

CPP Corporation (Consolidated Precision Products) is seeking Injection Molding Technicians (Molder I) at its Albany, OR facilities. The role focuses on daily checks, wax mold production, and quality adherence in a climate-controlled environment.

The position offers a 3-day work week with a Weekend NightShift (Fri/Sat/Sun) 3x12 schedule and a $2.50/hr shift differential, plus benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must understand and follow work instructions in English.
• Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be able to lift from floor to waist level up to 50 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation(s).
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds frequently with or without reasonable accommodation(s).
• Must be able to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Must be able to effectively work as part of a team.
• Must be able to maintain concentration and remain on task in an active environment.
• HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possess relevant experience may be considered.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks which include: making sure dies are clean, temperature and pressure gauges of wax press machine are correct, wax levels in press machine and melting pots are correct, and hydraulic leaks are not present.
• Retrieve aluminum dies from storage area
• Consistently produce wax molds which meet engineering specifications for quality while maintaining quantity requirements.
• Recognize defects in wax patterns and what causes each type of defect.
