Belcan is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our aerospace team in Rockford, IL. The role focuses on analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure top quality in aerospace production.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven leadership in project management and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Design, layout, and optimize production workflows, equipment, and space requirements.
• Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for process improvements.
• Analyze and prepare production line capacity assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methods to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Coordinate cost-saving programs and participate in NPD and APQP for successful product launches.
