Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Technician to support maintenance, calibration, and repair of PLC-controlled systems across our Albany foundry. You will work on furnaces, autoclaves, wax presses, shell-building systems, and heat-treat equipment to maximize uptime and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Experience troubleshooting industrial control systems and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Working knowledge of PLC systems, preferably Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix platforms.
• Understanding of instrumentation, sensors, transmitters, control valves, actuators, and process control loops.
• Familiarity with HMI and SCADA systems; Ignition experience is a plus.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and support PLC-based control systems.
• Diagnose and repair HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, relays, networks, and process equipment.
• Assist with PLC programming modifications, upgrades, and commissioning.
• Support plant SCADA and industrial monitoring systems, including Ignition.
