Job summary

Orion Industries in Washington state seeks an Assembly Technician to build hydraulic components from aerospace drawings and parts lists. You will install components per specifications, perform bonding, and use ERP to document work movements on the shop floor.

Candidates should read blueprints, handle precision tools, and collaborate with teammates in a quality-focused environment. High school diploma required; training to certify per Orion standards is provided.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret aerospace drawings and schematics.
• Use calipers, torque wrenches and various hand tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; Epicor and Microsoft experience desired.
• Detail-oriented and a productive team member.
• Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Responsibilities

• Read aerospace drawings, parts lists, and engineering docs to assemble hydraulic components and parts.
• Install components per specifications and on-time, with quality.
• Perform electrical bonding procedures and install safety devices as required.
• Maintain 6S/lean manufacturing practices and document work movements in ERP.
