Valor Healthcare seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver NASA Occupational Health Services. You will provide comprehensive clinical care, health assessments, and health education to NASA personnel in a high-stakes aerospace setting.

You will support mission-critical operations through high-quality care, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and innovation in occupational health.

Qualifications

• License as NP or PA with current certification in California.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Certification by CAOHC is preferred.
• NIOSH Spirometry Course completion is preferred.
• FMCSA Medical Examiner certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients with vital signs, histories, and exams for NASA personnel and contractors.
• Provide acute and chronic care management and follow-up care.
• Administer injections, perform suturing, and manage IV infusions.
• Document encounters in EMR/EHR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks, Cerner).
• Coordinate with teams for dermatology procedures and telehealth.
• Handle urgent care, triage, airway management and trauma readiness.
