Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Advanced Product Engineer to lead hardware design and development of modular avionics units. You will collaborate across teams to deliver robust hardware solutions for aerospace applications and support continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years in hardware design, plus experience with embedded systems, schematic capture, PCB layout, and change-management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as STEM.
• 5+ years of hardware design and development experience.
• Experience with Teamcenter IR/ECN; MOD Board; Change Impact Analysis; and configuration management tools.
• Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout; hardware testing and validation.
• Experience with embedded systems and related design tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform product engineering role for MAU sub-assembly end items
• Lead design and development of advanced hardware systems for aerospace applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project execution and quality standards.
