Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced welder to fabricate/weld spaceflight hardware using TIG on stainless steel (304/304L, 316/316L) to ASME B33.1 standards. The role supports fluid components and cryogenic installations within a safety-first culture.

You will collaborate with engineering to improve processes, report to the Weld Shop Supervisor, and assist manufacturing integration teams, traveling up to 20% and working shifts across A, B, C, and D lines as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years GTAW welding experience in aerospace/precision manufacturing.
• 5+ years stainless steel cryogenic installations experience (2G/5G/6G per ASME B31.3).
• Experience welding stainless, Inconel or Monel materials.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate/Weld hardware for spaceflight systems using TIG; stainless steel materials per ASME B33.1.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement/refine welding processes.
• Report to Weld Shop Supervisor and support manufacturing integration teams.
