Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Instrumentation Fitter to provide ground support equipment (GSE) technician support for LOX, fuel pad, and facility systems. You will build, install, repair, and troubleshoot pumps, tanks, valves, and related plumbing while maintaining high‑pressure equipment and instrumentation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 2+ years of industrial experience, with preference for space industry exposure and strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• 2+ years industrial experience with pipes, high‑pressure or mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GSE technician support: build, install, maintain, and troubleshoot LOX and fueling related equipment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and related hardware.
• Operate high‑pressure systems and pumps, including pneumatic components.
• Fabricate and repair GSE hardware and equipment.
• Collaborate with design engineers to document GSE activities.
• Ensure materials meet Clean for Oxygen Service Standards.
