Qualifications

• Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field (bachelor’s preferred).
• 5–10 years as a Manufacturing Engineer in machining/manufacturing environments.
• Aerospace or regulated, tight-tolerance experience preferred/required.
• Hands‑on CNC machining and manufacturing processes knowledge.
• Experience with CAM software and advanced CNC programming.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, fixturing, toolholding, process optimization.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Strong math/analytical skills and root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Support facility layouts, equipment placement, material flow, utilities, and infrastructure needs.
• Provide CNC machining expertise, tooling, fixtures, workholding, and machining processes.
• Develop and implement tooling, gauges, and production aids.
• Optimize machining processes: parameters, tooling, cycle times, setup, and capability.
• Reduce scrap, rework, setup time, cycle time, and downtime.
• Lead or support capital equipment projects from concept to production launch.
• Coordinate installation, testing, validation, and ramp‑up.
• Train operators on new processes, equipment, and methods.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment.
