Job summary

RTX in East Hartford, CT invites engineering interns to assist in gear design and analysis across the product life cycle, from design through validation and deployment. You will help monitor gearbox health during testing, perform data reduction, and support field investigations as part of a collaborative engineering team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering and enrolled through the internship period.
• Experience in gear design, analysis, or tribology.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis across all phases of the product life cycle, including preliminary and detailed design, testing and validation, and post-production support.
• Monitor gearbox health during rig validation testing and perform test data reduction and analysis.
• Support field investigations and contribute to improvement of engineering standards.
