Job summary

Boeing is seeking an Integral Fuel Tank Sealer for our Joint and Installation team in Everett and Renton, Washington. This role involves sealing, tank preparation, applying sealants, and conducting inspections to ensure safety and quality.

The job requires comfort in confined spaces and working in tight areas within wing tanks. Responsibilities include data entry, material handling, ventilation setup, and conducting pressure and functional tests on fuel vent systems.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with paints, coatings, finishes and/or sealants.
• Experience handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Experience prepping, cleaning, and painting surfaces in industrial or commercial settings.
• Experience working from heights and using fall protection equipment.
• Experience with safety processes in manufacturing/operations.
• Experience using tools and following work instructions.
• Ability to access/enter a wing fuel tank opening (approx. 9.5 x 17.7 in).

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily work assignments and review Installation Plans (IP) and Shop Orders to determine work area.
• Gather sealants, solvents, cleaners, and wipers from storage area.
• Install ventilation to ensure proper airflow in the work cavity.
• Clean tank surfaces with appropriate solvents/detergents.
• Load sealing guns and apply sealant and topcoat per BAC specs.
