Job summary

NAAS & Accessories LLC in Birmingham, AL is seeking a detail-oriented Aircraft Fuel Tank Mechanic to join our ground operations team. You will perform close-tolerance drilling/reaming inside fuel tanks and other confined spaces, apply sealant, and read engineering drawings, specs, and SOPs.

The role requires at least 1 year of fuel-tank maintenance and sealant experience, with preference for heavy aircraft structures and non-porous metals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of fuel-tank maintenance experience.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Minimum 1 year of sealant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform close-tolerance drilling and reaming on fuel tanks.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specs, and SOPs for structural repair.
• Seal, paint, shim, and preserve structures per repair processes.
• Use depot-level tooling and fixtures for modification and repair of structural parts.
• Work in confined spaces and lift loads as required (~35 lbs).
• Ensure safety compliance with Hazardous Energy/LOTO and Site Tool procedures.
