Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer on a full-time basis in Merritt Island, FL. You will act as a welcoming front desk security professional, supporting access control, monitoring visitors, and upholding a secure, courteous environment at an aerospace/defense location.

You will provide exceptional customer service, carry out security procedures, maintain logs, and respond to incidents per site protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site policies.
• Manage front desk operations: greet visitors, verify ID, issue visitor credentials, direct guests.
• Monitor access points and security systems and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site protocols, contacting emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and incident reports to support a professional reception environment.
