Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Front Desk Services in Bothell, WA. You will greet visitors, support access control, badge issuance, and maintain a professional security presence while delivering exceptional customer service.

In this aerospace and defense location, you will monitor entry activity, respond to incidents, and coordinate with site leadership to protect people and property. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values integrity and service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a front desk within an aerospace/defense location.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials and authorization, issue passes and maintain records.
• Receive and direct calls, deliveries, and visitors in a professional manner while monitoring security activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and follow emergency procedures.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Receive and direct incoming calls, deliveries, and visitors in a professional manner while maintaining awareness of security‑related activity at the entrance area.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established emergency response procedures.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security‑related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.L
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.L
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.L
