Job summary

CPP Corporation is seeking a Foundry Helper to support casting and metal department tasks in Albany, OR. You will perform loading/unloading, cleanup, torch cutting, MIG welding, and mold preparation to meet productivity targets.

Requirements include basic computer skills, 50 lb lift capability, and willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening. This is a full-time, on-site position with training provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required, but relevant experience may be considered in lieu.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Must take a baseline hearing test prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Assists with loading or unloading casting furnaces.
• Assists with general departmental clean-up including sweeping and debris removal.
• Torch cutting using Oxy/Acetylene torches.
• MIG welding titanium electrodes for casting furnace (training provided).
• Prepares molds for filling with molten metals.
• Cleans furnaces and supports operation of casting equipment.
