Pratt & Whitney in Columbus, Georgia, is seeking a Forge Team Member to operate and monitor forging equipment, inspect parts, and uphold safety and quality standards for aerospace components.

This 3rd shift role (Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–8:30 AM) offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and generous PTO, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement within the production team.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with machine setups, tooling or die changes, and equipment adjustments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor forging presses and related equipment to shape metal into precision aerospace components.
• Read work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to perform machine setups and produce parts within tolerances.
• Inspect forged parts using precision measuring tools to verify quality.
• Install, adjust, and remove dies, fixtures, and tooling while monitoring equipment performance.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain production flow and support continuous improvement.
