Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation in Long Beach, CA, invites applications for a Fluids Technician III on B shift to build the fluids systems sub-assemblies for the Archimedes engine. You will set up CNC tube cutting equipment, perform tube bending and assembly, and prepare components to meet project specifications.

Preferred candidates have 5+ years of tube shop experience in aerospace, knowledge of Inconel, titanium, aluminum and stainless steel, and proven ability to work with close tolerances and tube

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Tube shop experience in aviation, aerospace, or similar industry.
• Experience working with Inconel, titanium, aluminum and stainless steel
• Experience working with close tolerances
• Working knowledge of Tube Bending technology
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC tube cutting equipment
• Perform tube bending, flaring, fit up, and preparation to meet project specifications and industry standards
• Cutting and assembling tubes based on provided drawings.
• Assisting with day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
