Job summary

The Gill Corporation is seeking a Final Inspector in California to support technicians and perform final inspections on parts per customer drawings and internal docs.

Responsibilities include verifying certifications, using SAP/NetInspect, and maintaining inspection logs and FAIRs for shipment readiness. Candidates must have a high school diploma and FAI experience, with English language proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer skills: word processing and spreadsheets.
• English language proficiency.
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.
• Strong reading/interpretation of technical specifications and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies, quality procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Comprehend and ensure compliance with internal quality documents, and customer specifications.
• Read and understand customer specifications, process standards, drawings, ANSI procedures, and industry standards.
• Utilize internal systems (SAP, NetInspect) to access CMM reports, material certs, test reports, and NCRs.
• Review work orders for accuracy and confirm all material certifications are valid and complete.
• Perform final and in-process inspections using customer drawings, specifications, and internal documentation (GWI, GPS, GMS, GOS, SWI).
