Job summary

AIT is seeking an Installation Technician to travel to customer sites, assist in reassembly, operation and use of AIT equipment. You will install and maintain machines, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and perform preventive maintenance as directed.

Required: years of related experience, ability to read blueprints, and willingness to travel internationally. A strong safety mindset and excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or related field preferred.
• Technical certification/trade school apprenticeship a plus.
• Minimum of four years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains production machines, equipment, and facility tools.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Sets up mills, lathes, and grinders per blueprint tolerances.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs as directed.
• Coordinates with supervision for tool and parts transfers.
