Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a Facilities Technician to repair, maintain, and optimize production equipment and plant services in our Miami facility. You will perform electrical troubleshooting, read diagrams, and handle hydraulic systems, ensuring reliability of critical manufacturing assets.

The role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience, knowledge of OSHA rules, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Vocational degree or technical school is required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5+ years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with OSHA Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Experience with Industrial plant electrical wiring and code requirements, troubleshooting, machine mechanical and electrical operation.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Forklift Certification or other mobile equipment such as scissor lifts and jenny booms are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and perform routine maintenance on production equipment and plant utilities.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and reading electrical diagrams and P&ID drawings.
• Install hydraulic systems and perform preventative maintenance; diagnose and repair hydraulic equipment.
• Read blueprints to troubleshoot problems and document tests and repairs.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and participate in safety programs.
• Record data and maintain records of hours, orders, and maintenance activity.
