Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Morton, IL is seeking a Facilities and EHS Technician to support daily site operations, perform maintenance, and help sustain a safe, compliant work environment. You will assist with safety programs, environmental monitoring, and regulatory records while coordinating with contractors and production teams to uphold OSHA, EPA, and ITAR/EAR requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing or facility maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings, SOPs, and safety documentation.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facilities maintenance, repairs, and preventive inspections.
• Support EHS programs (hazard communication, PPE, emergency response, lockout/tagout).
• Conduct safety audits and inspections of production and support areas.
• Assist with environmental monitoring and waste handling.
• Maintain records for OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
• Support contractors and ensure site safety standards.
• Help ensure machine and production floor safety (guarding, signage, hazard ID).
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist with calibration and upkeep of safety equipment.
• Support facility improvement projects (layout changes, installations).
• Respond to facility emergencies and provide on-call assistance.
