Job summary

The Gill Corporation in California is seeking a Fabrication Assembler with experience in production assembly, high attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency. The role supports the fabrication department and rework activities under the Operations Engineering guidance.

Responsibilities include finishing panel assemblies, using blueprints, applying adhesives, and logging materials in SAP. Candidates should have 1–3 years in manufacturing, be able to lift 50 lbs, and be willing to work overtime

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in assembly/manufacturing.
• Able to read blueprints and work orders.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must lift, push and pull at least 50 lbs.
• English reading and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Finish detailed panel assembly and liners.
• Use specifications, blueprints, mylar and work orders.
• Deburr and clean insert holes prior to installation.
• Apply adhesive to plugs, sleeves and panels.
• Prepare panel assemblies for edge fill operation.
• Mix and apply adhesive to panel edges.
• Hand route liners with pneumatic router as required.
• Record materials and logs in SAP.
• Other duties as assigned.
