Job summary

Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar is seeking a Fab Tech for its Arlington, WA shop to fabricate aerospace parts using hand, pneumatic and hydraulic tools. The role requires reading manufacturing drawings, meeting tolerance, and maintaining safety standards in a busy metal fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient with basic measuring tools (calipers, protractor).
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Uses hammers, saws and grinders to cut, form, bend, and straighten metal to meet customer specifications.
• Uses shrinker/stretcher to form parts into tolerance.
• Runs arbor press, stretch form, router, shear, brake press after setup.
• Performs work instructions and assisted setup where required.
• Thoroughly inspects first part run and ensures conformance to specs.
