Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar is seeking a Machinist to operate NC machines and machining centers, fabricating aerospace parts per engineering specifications. The role includes on-the-job training and setting up jobs with supervision.

You will read blueprints, inspect parts with calipers/micrometers, and maintain quality in a production environment while following safety guidelines and contributing to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Three years plus experience running a CNC mill or recent Machinist Tech Training Certificate.
• Proven ability to consistently run good parts that meet production standards.
• Strong skills and aptitude in math.
• Ability to perform basic functions with MS Windows-based computer operating systems, such as opening and closing files.
• Completion of Machine Proficiency test during interview process.

Responsabilités

• Set-up, run, and dimensionally maintain quality in a production environment.
• Use shop tools and inspection equipment to verify part conformity.
• Troubleshoot production issues and identify out-of-tolerance machining or tooling problems.
• Dial in a hole or edge-find and set machine offsets.
• Understand G&M code; work across multiple machine centers as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and assist with other duties as assigned.
